It's been amazing following this year's DBR and seeing ultra friends and the many regular ultra acquaintances doing so well and putting their hearts and souls into the race. It's really brutal and takes it's toll early on. Well done to everyone

I wish that I'd been there to compete again and I'm trying to decide whether to race it next year or be artist in residence (many thanks again to Shane and Ourea Events for the opportunity to do so) which will be equally as exciting and probably just as tiring because I'll be running half of the course to get to the best views along the way and to see runner's pass.

It's made me look back and reflect on the DBR collection so far (dominated by my obsessional fear of Crib Goch at the time!) and I think that 'll look forward to capturing more of the southern Welsh mountains and valleys next year.
